Forensic Science

Carnforth Rotary welcomed guest speaker Roger Summers, a fellow rotarian and Forensic Scientist, this evening for an extremely amazing talk and slide show where a lot of knowledge was gained. We learnt how people can be identified, and criminals caught using scientific evidence.
Did you know that, not only are fingerprints unique, but so are footprints and that your left and right ears are different?
The veins on the back of hands are being investigated for uniqueness too. Dental imprints and records are also a very good form of identification, as are tattoos.
Roger signed off with a challenge, which I give to you: Think of someone dear to you and name 6 identification features they have.
