Carnforth Rotarians Support Wrap Up Lancashire Project

Carnforth Rotarians commenced their Wrap Up Lancashire (Morecambe Bay Group) Project at Booths Store Carnforth on 6th October. Store Manager Justin Howley, Carnforth Rotary President Peter Lambson and the Mayor of Carnforth Kath Bromilow were present to launch this initiative.

The Wrap up Lancashire project relies on donations of warm, clean winter coats from members of the local community over a three week period from 7th – 28th October 2019. Donations are placed in specially labelled boxes located throughout Carnforth, Lancaster and Morecambe. Donated coats will be distributed to local charities who will give them to local people in need over the winter months.

Coats can be donated at the following locations:

Booths Supermarkets (Carnforth and Scotforth branches)
Carnforth Civic Hall
Tesco Store, Carnforth
Lancaster Fire Station
Halton Community Centre
Lancaster and Morecambe Town Halls

For other locations please see the Morecambe Bay area on the website www.wrapuplancashire.co.uk.
